Storytelling 101- A Lunch and Learn Series
We are excited to host our seventh and second to last for the year, Lunch and Learn Series, Storytelling 101 virtual event!
This month's theme for stories will be "Tell us about an online purchase you are really proud of buying/enjoy using or about the best gift you ever received and why you like it so much.”
What: A 45-min once a month virtual gathering of people from all walks of life and careers getting together to practice the art of storytelling in a low pressure, fun environment of peers.
Why: No matter what field you work or volunteer in, there is a lot of value in being able to tell a story and present to your peers. As a community, the more we create spaces to share, the more we can grow in our own voices and the collective of our community voices.
What to expect: Each month participants will be given a story prompt (see theme above) ahead of time upon sign-up for the event in order to prepare for a 3- 5 minute story share. There will be an optional opportunity for peer feedback and to have yourself recorded for your own learning value.
Please review the kick off YouTube recording before attending this event to have a better understanding of what we do and how to craft a story here. Feel free to email us at[email protected] with your questions!
